Chelan Douglas Health Board Expels Member From Meeting To Discuss Potential Litigation
Bill Sullivan was compelled to leave the meeting during an executive session because of a 'conflict of interest' regarding his involvement in an anti-vax org
Chelan Douglas Health Board member Bill Sullivan spent about 20 minutes of the board’s August meeting on the sidewalk outside the building after his fellow board members voted to expel him from an executive session Monday.
Sullivan was asked to recuse himself from the executive session by the CDHD’s attorney Erin McCool because of his involvement with a group called “Truth and Accountability Project Washington” (TAPWA), which last month served the board a document they titled a “Notice of Liability.”
McCool called Sullivan’s involvement in the session a “conflict of interest” because Sullivan is a signatory on the notice from TAPWA.
