This week I dropped in on the first annual “Eastmont Elves” shop with cops event at Fred Meyer in East Wenatchee. The goal is to ensure no Eastmont student goes without presents this holiday season. The event was organized by Ivy Jacobsen, one of two school resource officers with the Eastmont Police Department, and saw about 50 law enforcement officers from Chelan and Douglas counties come to take selected students on personal shopping sprees.
I filmed and edited this short video for the Eastmont School District, featuring interviews with Officer Jacobsen and her colleague and fellow Eastmont SRO Issac Cooper.
International Christian Podcast Covers Grace City Church’s ‘Project ManCard’ Weekend
“Straight White American Jesus” is a podcast “on religion and politics by two ex-ministers who are now scholars of religion,” according to its website.
It’s hosted by Daniel Miller and Bradley Onishi, ex-evangelical ministers who are now religion scholars, and they focus on Christian Nationalism. Onishi’s new book, “Preparing for War: The Extremist History of White Christian Nationalism,” was released this month.
In their most recent episode, the hosts discuss Grace City Church’s inaugural “Project ManCard” rite of passage, citing my last article.
You can listen to the episode via Spotify here.
The following quote by Gavin Wax, New York Young Republican Club (NYYRC) president is very disturbing and should remove all doubt of Republican violent intent and agenda. To ignore red flags is not only foolish, but dangerous.
“We want to cross the Rubicon. We want total war. We must be prepared to do battle in every arena. In the media. In the courtroom. At the ballot box. And in the streets. This is the only language the left understands. The language of pure and unadulterated power."
