'Pastor/Rabbi' Isaac David Heckman Sentenced To 14 Months For Felony Assault Of Former Girlfriend
His victim gave a lengthy and emotional address to the court in which she called Heckman a cult leader who "brainwashes sensitive, lonely people"

Isaac David Heckman, the “rabbi/pastor” of the Assembly of Called Out Believers in Wenatchee, was sentenced on Wednesday to 14 months in prison after being found guilty of two counts of felony assault against his former romantic partner, a woman named Maria Brunetto.
Brunetto gave an emotional statement before Judge Travis Brandt handed down Heckman’s sentence. She said during their relationship she was beaten, drugged, unlawfully imprisoned and threatened with murder by what she described as a controlling, rage-fueled narcissist desperate to keep the affair secret lest it damage his reputation as a chaste spiritual leader.
On the stand during the trial, Heckman admitted he has had no rabbinical training, but described himself as “rabbi” and “pastor” of his Messianic Jewish congregation in Wenatchee.
