Rape, Incest Case Against Nicolas Turner Dismissed In Chelan County Superior Court
While former Bible study leader Michael E. Wilson's trial date is postponed, again
Charges of First Degree Rape of a Child and First Degree Incest against Nicolas J. Turner were dismissed in Chelan County Superior Court on Wednesday.
Turner was arrested on Sept. 1, 2023 after a female relative, accompanied by her mother, went to the Wenatchee Police Department and filed a report that alleged Turner had raped the girl when she was three. You can read more about the arrest and the probable cause given for it here.
Turner’s attorney Brandon Redal requested the case be dismissed and Chelan County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Michael Munneke gave no objection. But before Chelan County Superior Court Judge Robert Jourdan dismissed the case, Redal took a few minutes to run through the details and point out what the state got wrong.
