In early 2023, the governing body of the Town Toyota Center struck a deal to settle a dispute with the publicly-owned facility's anchor tenant, the Wenatchee Wild, to the tune of nearly $300,000.

The Wenatchee Public Facilities District, or PFD, oversees the Town Toyota Center. The board is made up of representatives from the communities that pay sales tax to fund the publicly owned and operated building that seats 4,300.
