'Truth and Dominion:' Grace City Church's Vector Academy Is Becoming A College
The unaccredited institution will offer "Liberty Arts" degrees because "there's nothing liberal about what we do," President Kyle McMullen said
The fourth year of Grace City Church’s Vector Academy will be its last because this fall it will become Vector College, GCC Pastor and Vector “El Presidente” Kyle McMullen announced on June 8.
The announcement came during the graduation ceremony for the fourth and final group of graduates from GCC’s nine-month program it bills as a “college alternative.”
The ceremony also served as an engagement announcement for Vector grad Emily Fueher, who moved from Yakima to attend Vector and found her future husband.
“Not only did I make many good friends when I moved here but I also met my best friend,” she said. “And we’re getting married in two months. So I came here for Vector but I’m staying for my future husband.”
Twenty of the nearly 35 Vector Academy graduates will stay to attend Vector College, McMullen said, which will be a two-year institution.
Then with a flash of irritation he addressed the elephant in the room.
