Wenatchee All-Stars 10U Boys Baseball Team Qualify For Babe Ruth World Series, But Need Help Getting There
The tournament starts in just eight days and the team is trying to raise $50,000 for airfare, hotels, car rentals and other expenses
A couple weeks ago the Wenatchee All-Stars 10U Boys Baseball Team swept state. Then last weekend they won regionals and punched their ticket to the Babe Ruth World Series in Crown Point, Indiana. This 10U team is one of two in Wenatchee to make it to the World Series this year, and it’s the first time in six years that any team from Wenatchee has qualified. But they need the community's help to get to the tournament – which starts in just eight days.
I met up with the boys and their coach Josh Fisher today to talk about their accomplishments, and how the Wenatchee community can help support them.
You can learn more in the video above, and if you’d like to help them reach their goal all the details are in this flyer.
