Kollin Harmon is a private investigator with a background as a US Marshall, a body guard and a narcotic and white-collar crime investigator. Four years ago he and his family moved to Wenatchee from Pennsylvania. At that point, he had been a retired stay-at-home dad for about 10 years and his kids were getting older.
So he was looking for something to occupy his time.
That’s when he learned of a porch pirate who had stolen a package from an acquaintance’s home. Starting with nothing more than a partial picture of the suspect’s vehicle that didn’t include any part of the license plate, he went to work. Once he had identified the make and model of the vehicle it took him about 15 minutes to find it and the suspect was behind bars not long after that.
This made him decide to get his private investigator’s license in Washington state and start a business. Over the course of the last four years, he’s worked on some interesting cases.
