Thank you for your diligence in informing us and challenging individuals who seem to believe they don’t owe honesty, transparency and integrity to anyone while they claim to be Christian . Might want to read the passage that addresses turning weapons into plowshares. And read the New Testament passages in red. This whole thing reminds me of former pastors of cults who answered to no one, having not gone to theology education nor be ordained as are legitimate pastors. Unfortunately their ability to teach the Truth is hampered by their own ignorance, ego, and lust for power. Why would a church in Wenatchee need to be armed??
What a crazy time this is. Also that wallpaper screams fascist and Aryan “perfection”. Sick (not in a good way).
Thank you for that heads up. I'll go find that and update the article. I'd like to know how many guns will be on campus, how they will be stored and who will have access to them.
Too bad they had to start getting into other neighborhoods. They are terrible neighbors and very proud of it. I’ve spoken out against them numerous times and even put up a new 8 foot fence (which still doesn’t block them all the way). They put their huge dumpster behind our house so that’s our view now. When I take my niece to the bus stop on their weird man morning rituals, I have to push my way into the traffic because they won’t let me in otherwise. Creepy, misogynistic monsters that hit their children and train women to be submissive. I loathe them all.
Interesting that an individual from Moms for Liberty wants to push this - they are considered an extremist group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. (But I'm sure a lot of people here already know this?)
Seems that what GCC wants/dreams about could have been more easily accomplished if they had bought property outside of town, they certainly raised enough money to do so. But instead they want to move to the middle of town? I don't understand that.
The area they are acquiring is along the border of properties certain Real Estate folks know as the "golden rectangle" -- a section of older residential properties that are generally less expensive (though perhaps not as much so now) and are considered very desirable places to live. I'm sure people there will not be looking forward to having their properties devalued because a bunch of noisy and disagreeable neighbors moved next door. This has always been a very quiet and livable neighborhood.
I'm wondering what the Free Methodist Church feels about this development (as it is right next door to their property), or are they all for it? I know they are conservative, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are in lockstep with GCC. I wonder what the 55+ community that was built on the other side of the white fence (on the east side of the property) feels about this? I'm sure one of the big draws was the isolated and QUIET location.
The Free Methodist (now Sage Hills) is where many GCC families, including the Ballards, attended when McPhersons were growing up. The pastor of Sage Hills also thinks highly of Mark Driscoll. I think GCC and Sage Hills have done an event together in the past.
Sage hills hosted with GCC that seminar for teachers on how to get around the vaccine mandate. Like what to specifically write in the forms that would get us a religious exemption and still be able to work.
Thanks for your coverage on this Dominick. Susan Heminger and Abbey Reynolds, well said. OMG, that wallpaper. 😳

In the documents for their school it is stated that they will have armed security at the school. On the school website in their “FAQ”

For sure and if they try to sell the city they won’t have guns on site here is contradiction.
Here is the doc. It’s at the top of page 5 https://www.gardencityfarmers.com/_files/ugd/415fcd_03623233ec27424ca0c5f7a173f7d2bc.pdf
Thank you! I added a screenshot of that part and a link to the FAQ doc they published.
That is scary... but I'm not surprised. While I'm not anti-gun I'm definitely anti-facists with guns.

Wenatchee better keep an eye - it can slip away very easily. As we have seen!

Yes, I found that interesting too. I know the Wenatchee World covered the local chapter back in June and did mention they're labeled a hate group by the SPLC: https://www.wenatcheeworld.com/news/local/ncw-chapter-of-moms-for-liberty-flagged-as-hate-group-leader-says-label-exposes-what/article_9b42821a-1111-11ee-936b-9fc04a244492.html
Specifically a Hate Group.

It figures
Any idea if there was an individual or firm that designed those wallpaper treatments? Smacks of AI but the prompts have to come from somewhere.
