Former city councilman Bryan Campbell refused to follow Covid-era rules, pushed past PAC employees to enter the building and later refused apologize for behavior
When any candidate, for any office, leads with mention of “faith and family values” my antenna goes up. Neither their faith or their version of family values is a plus for holding public office.
Once again, you’ve shared important insight into the character of an individual running for public office. His lack of respect for the community he wants to represent has been noted.
So...he never answered about GCC...curious minds should know. I think its a relevant question if one is concerned about an extreme religion gaining power in local government. Altho the behavior at PAC is troubling, he does say both he and his wife had been vaccinated against covid. True? Again another relevant question for one seeking office.
Campbell's actions at the PAC likely told us a lot about him, where he stands, and what kind of leadership he would provide. His actions don't pass the whiff test.
Vote for the other guy like I did in the primary. I had already been warned off Campbell.
If Campbell wins the mayoral position, which I hope he doesn't, be sure to hold the swearing in ceremony at the PAC.
Bryan is a good buddy of mine. He definitely sees the world in the far, far right. He has also been involved in good community activities over the years. I see the world from a different perspective. Good buddies don't need to think alike politically and still be good buddies. He's not looking for my vote... ;-))
Thank you for your honesty. Your first sentence had me concerned for what could follow. i think Claudia's comment "his lack of respect for the community he wants to represent...." should be on billboards. Too many in many places today disregard everything but their own choices.
Given that Bryan Campbell is listed as a friend on Josh McPherson's Facebook page, it is interesting that Bryan asked "Who are they?" in response to your question about GCC. Both McPherson and Adam James are listed on Campbell's Facebook page. Obviously, there could be many more GCC members that Campbell knows and/or has a professional or personal relationship with...he is dodging your question intentionally. Certainly he knows whether they have provided support.

Totally agree. A red flag
