'Our Shared Democracy' Collab Hosts Mail In Voting Info Night with County Auditors

And I interview a few of the folks who made it happen

About 60 folks gathered in the Jack and Edna Maguire Conference Room on the Campus of Wenatchee Valley College on the evening of Sept. 17 to hear a presentation about mail-in voting by Chelan County Auditor Skip Moore and Douglas County Auditor Thad Duvall.

It was a non-partisan informational event organized by a number of local non-profit organizations like Rural People’s Voice, Our Valley, Our Future, NCW Libraries and the Interfaith Justice Coalition, which I covered earlier this year.

Interfaith Coalition Focuses On Bringing People Together, Promoting Peace

The Interfaith Justice Coalition was born in response to a concerning rise in Christian nationalism in North Central Washington, say founding members.

I decided to check in on their progress as an organization and so I went to this event, interviewed a number of the steering committee members and then produced the video above.
